The Proviand website

Proviand reads a Shopify shop’s sales history and says what to reorder, when, and how much.

Shopify switched off Stocky, their own version of this, on 31 August 2026. The shops that ran on it needed somewhere to go, and most of what is left either costs more than the stock it manages or hides the arithmetic.

Proviand shows the arithmetic. Every recommendation opens into the sales velocity, seasonality, lead time and safety stock behind it, so a shop owner can disagree with it and be right. It groups what you need into purchase orders by supplier, and receiving goes back into Shopify.

Free for 50 SKUs on one location. 29 dollars a month adds purchase orders and alerts, 99 removes the limits.

It took three submissions to get into the Shopify App Store. The second rejection was my own fault.
